Kuromoji Herbal Water (made by Ei-Chi)
50ml
Made by Ei-Chi, my dear friend Chie Iwasaki, a fellow folk herbalist in the Mt. Daisen region.
Kuromoji (Lindera umbellata), also known as Japanese spicebush, is an aromatic tree native to Japan. Traditionally valued for its calming and relaxing qualities, it has a bright, woodsy, subtly sweet scent with notes of citrus.
This hydrosol is distilled at an elevation of 600 meters using fresh spring water that emerges from the forests of Mt. Daisen. The distillation process is carried out slowly and with great care, as a kind of dialogue with the plant.
This hydrosol can be used as a facial mist or to refresh and cleanse spaces.
It is alcohol-free and contains no additives.
Comes in a glass mist bottle.
About the Kuromoji
The kuromoji is harvested from the forests surrounding Mt. Daisen, where it grows wild in abundance.
The plants are harvested in alignment with the lunar cycle.
Harvesting is done carefully and selectively, with attention to maintaining the health and vitality of the forest.
