*RESTOCK IN AUGUST* Yomogi Oil (Mugwort)

$30.00
sold out

60ml

Same Yomogi Oil as before, just with a new look!

Made with 蓬 yomogi (Japanese mugwort), gently infused in cured, cold-pressed sesame oil.

Yomogi, known botanically as Artemisia princeps Pampan. and Artemisia indica, is a deeply rooted medicinal herb in Japanese culture. The plants used in this oil are hand-harvested each year from a lush patch growing beside my little hut.

Traditionally known for its warming and calming properties, yomogi supports the nervous system and is used for dry skin, itches, minor wounds, joint pain, and menstrual health.

This oil carries a deep, earthy scent with a honey-like sweetness. It’s perfect for moisturizing after bathing, soothing the nervous system before bed, or as a gentle massage oil. Thanks to the warming nature of both mugwort and sesame oil, it’s especially nourishing for during our bleeds & for postpartum care.

In Western herbal traditions, mugwort is also treasured for its connection to dreamwork and intuition.

Ingredients:
Cured cold-pressed sesame oil, yomogi (Artemisia princeps Pampan., Artemisia indica), organic brown rice alcohol (trace amounts), natural vitamin E.

✹Made in the old volcanic lands of Mt. Daisen & the sea✹

Tried pickling Ooray plums into Umeboshi while in Australia a few years ago.
Tasted very.... umeboshi-esque✨🍈

何年か前にオーストラリアで、ネイティブフルーツの「ウーレイプラム」を使って漬けてみた梅干し。このプラムは完熟したら紫色になって、紫蘇なしでも真っ赤に仕上がった。

If you want to make nocino, don't forget to pick those unripe green walnuts! It's juuuust about that time. You want to go for them while they are still soft on the inside. This Italian liqueur can be sipped on as a digestive or a splash
