$0.00
sold out

Herbal Offering by Ei-Chi
Created by Chie Iwasaki, a dear friend and fellow folk herbalist of the Mt. Daisen region

8g

Kuromoji has long been cherished in Japan, traditionally used as tea, toothpicks, and fragrant wood.

Fresh leaves from wild Kuromoji trees in the forests of Oku-Daisen are cold-stone milled into an ultra-fine, silky tea powder.

This naturally vibrant green tea retains the leaf’s delicate aroma and heat-sensitive compounds.

Features:

  • Cold-stone milled

  • Raw and unheated

  • Naturally vibrant green

  • Smooth texture, dissolves easily in water

  • Refreshing, cooling aroma

  • Ideal for flavoring drinks, sweets, and even ice cream

Suggested Use:

Kuromoji Iced Tea : Add approx. 800 ml of water to 1g of powder, plus a few drops of fresh lemon juice.

Kuromoji Soy Milk Latte : Mix 1g of powder with 180 ml of soy milk and 1 tsp of black sugar. Try adding kinako for extra flavor.

Kuromoji Green Tea: Blend with matcha powder in any ratio you like.

After opening, store in an airtight container away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.

Tasted very.... umeboshi-esque✨🍈

何年か前にオーストラリアで、ネイティブフルーツの「ウーレイプラム」を使って漬けてみた梅干し。このプラムは完熟したら紫色になって、紫蘇なしでも真っ赤に仕上がった。
